  Get in touch with people working in areas that interest you. Find out what study they have done.

• Influences

  Consider the influence of others. Are you trying to please someone else? Did something unexpected happen? Is anything limiting you?

• Stereotypes

  Are stereotypes stopping you from exploring some study areas? Consider diversity, identify role models and read case studies of others who have tried something different.
